Track UPS shipments on your worksheet
Cell A1 contains a UPS tracking number. Put this formula in cell B1:
=HYPERLINK("http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?HTMLVersion=5.0&loc=en_US&Requester=UPSHome&tracknum="&A1&"&AgreeToTermsAndConditions=yes&ignore=&track.x=18&track.y=11","Track this shipment")
Click in the cell to open a browser window with the tracking information for this package.
Get Driving Directions
Hopefully you are familiar with my page with driving distance functions. I created the following formula for a ridiculously large client (at my last employer) to print maps and driving directions.
Cells A5 through D5 contain a starting address.
- A5: Street Address
- B5: City
- C5: State
- D5: Zip
Cells E5 through H5 contain a destination address.
- E5: Street Address
- F5: City
- G5: State
- H5: Zip
This formula will open a browser window with the driving directions, courtesy of MapQuest:
